GP, Psychiatrist, Paediatrician Referral and Mental Health Care Plans (MHCPs)

We accept Psychology Referrals under the Better Access to Mental Health Program, Private Health, and NDIS. Under the Better Access Scheme, eligible patients can receive up to 10 individual psychology rebates and 10 group therapy rebates per calendar year.

We accept Referrals by email, fax, or mail/post/in-person by the patient. Please advise patients to inform your reception/admin staff to send through the Referral Letter and MHCP to info@themiddlepath.com.au OR print out a hardcopy for them to bring to their session.

Appointments

Generally, daytime and after-hours appointments are often available within 14 days. We do have a waitlist for specific days and times of the day for ongoing patients. We can sometimes accommodate same-day appointments for urgent requests (best way to organise this would be to send an email).

Further information on Medicare rebates for psychology services can be found on MBS Online (mbsonline.gov.au).
